Hearts

These hearts started as test pieces (for glaze and construction), but developed into objects in their own right that may be given as presents to loved ones in a similar way that trophies are given to athletes. I wanted to open up the field of award-giving to people who may have done things in a quiet way and could be honoured by people close to them, or to others who just wanted to express their heart’s affection for another.
